Aichi Target 16 legal brief, Kenya (Nagoya Protocol)

Under IDLO’s Legal Preparedness for Achieving the Aichi Biodiversity Targets programme, Wazo Africa prepared the Kenya legal brief on Target 16 — implementation of the Nagoya Protocol on access and benefit sharing. The work included a review of the Environmental Management and Co-ordination Act benefit-sharing provisions, an analysis of novel approaches for Kenya, and supporting training material.
