Comment policy

Comment policy

We publish comments on working papers and policy issues because the arguments get better when they are tested. A few ground rules keep that useful.

What we publish

Comments that engage with the substance — the law, the evidence, the drafting, the policy. Disagreement is welcome. Expertise is welcome. Questions are welcome.

What we do not publish

  • Abuse, threats, or attacks on a person rather than an argument.
  • Hate speech or material that is unlawful in Kenya.
  • Defamatory allegations, or anything that would prejudice active legal proceedings.
  • Spam, marketing, and off-topic posting.
  • Personal data about third parties who have not consented.

How it works

Every comment is read before it appears. We may edit for length or to remove a name or a detail, or decline to publish, at our discretion. Approval is not endorsement. We are not obliged to publish or to explain a decision.

Your details

We ask for a name and an email. The name is published; the email is not. See the privacy notice for how we handle it. To have an approved comment removed, email info@wazo.co.ke.
